Editorial method & attribution

This independent collection is based on 26 travelshorts videos, their English captions and descriptions. The original creator owns their account and opinions. Our summaries are editorial paraphrases, not new firsthand visits or customer reviews. There is no claimed partnership or endorsement.

Imported on 3 November 2026 from the delivered structured dataset. All 42 manifest files matched their supplied SHA-256 checksums. This verifies file integrity, not the truth of every claim.

We independently compared 395 distinct evidence records with the local source captions: 331 matched text within the supplied timestamp window (with a two-second tolerance); 63 matched source text without confirmed timing; one excerpt did not match. Punctuation and case are ignored during matching.

Only timestamp-matched transcript records get a timestamp link. Text-only matches link to the full video; unconfirmed excerpts are not quoted. Matching captions is not a visual-footage audit, independent factual verification or human review. Caption transcription can contain errors.

Dates, hotels & changed plans

Travel dates follow the supplied itinerary reconstruction. Original upload dates are labelled separately and are not travel dates. The D124 sleeper crosses Day 7 into Day 8.

Ten hotel records are marked as actual stays in the supplied data. A hotel visit, meal or tour does not create an overnight stay. The Hong Kong account records one night at Salisbury YMCA and three at Disney’s Explorers Lodge.

The Impression Sanjie Liu show in Yangshuo was skipped after illness. The Great Wall toboggan was also skipped. Neither is presented as a completed experience.

The Li River cruise departure pier is unresolved. We do not infer a specific pier or its coordinates from the boat’s service class.

Historical costs, not current prices

Amounts remain in their reported currencies, with transaction, listed-price and summary records distinguished. Category figures sum to £12,444.26, while the creator states £12,443.63. The £0.63 difference is preserved. Individual transactions and summary totals must not be added together.
